El Gobierno estudia la posibilidad de ‘suprimir’ el impuesto al valor agregado (IVA) para el sector camaronero, que es el que más exporta en el país en el rubro de bienes no petroleros. El presidente Lenín Moreno confirmó la noticia en una carta que dirigió al titular de la Cámara Nacional de Acuacultura, José Antonio Camposano, para excusarse por no poder asistir a la AquaExpo que se realiza en Guayaquil. "Ecuador es un país con enorme potencial acuícola", subrayó Moreno en la misiva con fecha lunes 21 de octubre.
