김상조 청와대 정책실장이 지난 14일 별세한 고(故) 구자경 LG 명예회장의 빈소를 찾아 문재인 대통령의 위로를 전달했다. 김 정책실장은 이날 오전 11시45분께 서울 시내 모 병원에 마련된 구자경 명예회장의 빈소를 찾았다. 김 정책실장은 약 10분 간 유족을 위로하고, 유족을 대신해 배웅을 나온 권영수 (주)LG 부회장과 함께 빈소에서 빠져나왔다. 김 정책실장은 빈소 앞에서 취재진과 만나 “문재인 대통령께서 말씀하시기를 고인께서는 한국 화학산업과 전자산업의 기틀을 다지셨다”고 말했다. 이어 “특히 고인이 강조하신 정도경영과 인화상생은 우리 기업들이 나아가야할 길을 가르쳐주셨다고 하시면서 고인의 명복을 빌고 위로의 말씀을 전하라 하셨다”고 했다. 한편 김 정책실장은 장례식장 앞에서 권 부회장과 약 10여분간 환담을 나누고 돌아갔다. 권 부회장은 기자와 만나 “평소 고인이 저도 많이 아껴주셨다”며 안타까움을 드러냈다. NMFS publishes standard ex-vessel prices for groundfish and halibut for the calculation of the observer fee under the North Pacific Observer Program (Observer Program). This notice is intended to provide information to vessel owners, processors, registered buyers, and other Observer Program participants about the standard ex-vessel prices that will be used to calculate the observer fee for landings of groundfish and halibut made in 2020. NMFS will send invoices to processors and registered buyers subject to the fee by January 15, 2021. Fees are due to NMFS on or before February 15, 2021.

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that cracking was discovered in a channel within a structural support member for the rudder quadrant, rudder feel unit assembly, and environmental control system due to fatigue. This proposed AD would require repetitive inspections of the rudder quadrant box assembly for any cracking, and modification of the rudder quadrant box assembly. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed revision of a currently approved collection, and allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice.
NMFS is proposing to clarify its regulation which interprets other regulations to prohibit all fishing in the Monitor National Marine Sanctuary (Sanctuary). This is inconsistent with the applicable Sanctuary regulation that prohibits some, but not all, fishing activity in the Sanctuary. This proposed rule would revise regulations by removing the fishing prohibition text and cross-referencing the Sanctuary regulations instead.
