There are many methods for managing the complexity and challenges of new product development (NPD) under faster emerging technology. Most firms use them to collaborate with external organisations for their co-design on new products. This study purposes to provide a measurement model by applying multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approach to evaluate suppliers' co-design capabilities in NPD in terms of product structural design and engineering, product concept and functional design, and process design. The aim of the paper is to present a multi-choice multi-objective fuzzy probabilistic two stage programming problem and its solution methodology. The mathematical programming problem suggested here is difficult to solve directly. Therefore, three major steps are suggested to solve the proposed mathematical programming problem. In first step, fuzzy chance constraint is transformed to its equivalent chance constraint programming problem using α – cut technique. Chance constraint technique is used to obtain a crisp model of multi-choice multi-objective two-stage programming problem. In the second step, two stage programming problem is converted to its equivalent deterministic model. In next step, importance is given to handle multi-choice para.

This paper proposes a classical multivariate generalised gamma (GG) kernel estimator for probability density function (pdf) estimation in the context of multivariate nonnegative data. Then, we show that the multiplicative bias correction (MBC) techniques can be applied for multivariate GG kernel density estimator as in Funke and Kawka (2015). Some properties (bias, variance and mean integrated squared error) of the corresponding estimators are also provided. The choice of the vector of bandwidths is investigated by adopting the popular cross-validation technique. Finally, the performances of the classical and MBC estimator based on the family of GG kernels are illustrated by a simulation study and real data.

The present study investigates the aerodynamic characteristics of spherically blunted nose cone at a hypersonic Mach number of 5.8, numerically. The studies are conducted for different combinations of bluntness ratios and semi-cone angles, at zero angle of attack, in order to ascertain the nose cone parameters which provide minimum aerodynamic drag coefficient. The velocity vector shows the flow deceleration near the nose, re-acceleration through the sides as well the formation of recirculation zones. The structure of bow shock formed ahead of the nose as well as shock detachment distance is depicted by the Mach number contours. It is observed that the shock detachment distance follows linearly increasing behaviour with increase in bluntnes.
