Getty Images. It was House Judiciary Democrats’ first big hearing of the fall. Here’s how it went. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee hauled in former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski to testify Tuesday, in the first big hearing of their impeachment investigation — and it was a circus. The testimony was mainly about one episode of potential obstruction of justice outlined in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report: President Donald Trump’s request to Lewandowski, in June 2017, that he deliver a message to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, pressuring him to retake control of the Russia probe and restrict it only to future election interference. Lewandowski never gave the message to Sessions. It was a bizarre incident. Because Le.

Fox News. They keep using the same false talking point to change the topic. A New York Times from over the weekend contains a third, previously undisclosed sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The report was to make it clear the new allegation is not as strongly corroborated as readers of the first version of the story may have been led to believe. Fox News is capitalizing on the revision to dismiss all the sexual misconduct allegations Kavanaugh faces — and doing so in a misleading way. Over the past 24 hours, Fox News hosts and reporters have described changes the New York Times made to Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly’s story as a “correction” at least a dozen times. Yang’s UBI pilot might violate campaign finance law, but there’s no one to stop it from going forward. promised to spice up September’s primary debate by doing “something no presidential candidate has ever done before in history” live on television. He kept that promise by announcing in his opening statement that he would give away $1,000 a month — $120,000 a year — to 10 randomly selected people as part of a pilot program for his universal basic income proposal. There are so many barriers to mental health care for young people — a shortage of providers just being one of them. | Getty Images/iStockphoto. Psychotherapy is often too long, expensive, and hard to find. These scientists are hopeful there’s a better way. A child doesn’t know how to cope with her emotions, is depressed, and stays in bed all day. She could use some help from a psychological counselor: someone to teach her how to handle challenging thoughts and behaviors. But for parents, finding that help can be an ordeal. As it stands, the current system simply isn’t built to accommodate the number of young people who could benefit from mental health care. It’s a tall order just to get people into treatment; stigma still keeps too many out.
