The Chromebook Tablet CT100, as it's called, runs the same version of Google's Chrome operating system that is available on Chrome OS laptops and Chromebox desktops, but "fitted into a recognizable form factor" for younger kids.

Budget tablet with some free credit. Easy. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6-inch 16GB tablet is down to $129 with a $25 Google Play credit at Walmart. Walmart's tablet here is slightly different from the regular Tab E, but it doesn't seem to matter much in terms of performance. A very similar Tab E goes for $200 at Best Buy and doesn't even come with any extra credit. How dare they. It has a 9.6-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot that can expand your new device's storage up to 128GB. There is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 7300mAh battery. It has two cameras with a 5MP version on the back and a 2MP camera on the front for those selfies or video conference calls.
