After presumptive Democratic Party presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden asked a Black reporter if he was on drugs in response to being questioned about his cognitive status, Axios said Biden's campaign refused to apologize. Instead, sources reported Biden's staff had called the question "preposterous" and said it should have never been asked. According to a Breitbart News report, while many have suggested Biden defer from engaging in debating President Trump, the former vice president's wife, Jill, has stated Biden will, in fact, debate Trump.
Sources in the Likud addressed tonight's anti-government demonstrations at PM Netanyahu's residences in Jerusalem and Caesarea. "While Prime Minister Netanyahu is fighting to return the Israeli economy to normal and transfer funds and grants to Israeli citizens, Channel 12 is doing everything in its power to encourage far left demonstrations of Lapid and Joint Arab List chief Ayman Odeh, inciting to murder against the prime minister and his family," read a statement.
Some ten thousand cases have disappeared from the state archives. Their whereabouts remain unknown. The story was broken by the "Seventh Eye" website. Mann was told that the archives said that file had disappeared some time ago. Organizers of the "Black Flags" protests across the country tonight said they wanted to see Netanyahu resign. "Tens of thousands across the country, at Netanyahu's homes in Caesarea and Jerusalem, proved that the people of Israel are not in need of additional elections. We want Netanyahu to resign from office and let us rebuild from the mess he's left us." "The people of Israel deserve leadership that will tend to the economic and health crisis that Netanyahu leaves in his path. It is time for a new era of leadership concerned with the people rather than incitement and indictments."
Chairman of Meretz, Nitzan Horowitz, said he would propose a law banning an individual charged with a criminal case from forming a government. "Someone charged with a crime shouldn't be able to run an entire country according to his whims and criminal interests. This self-evident law would safeguard the state, the Israeli economy and democracy, and prevent criminal suspects from being able to form the government," he said. Horowitz said there was a Knesset majority for passing the law.
