The nonprofit is Project Angel Food and it provides meals and counseling for people living with serious illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other deadly diseases. Project Angel Food was a response to the AIDS crisis, but now it helps people suffering from all types of life-ending diseases.

Tesla Smart Summon was all the rage for a few days on Tesla Twitter and Tesla YouTube. For obvious reason, too — it's fun! More thoughtfully (putting on my serious face), it's an amazing step forward toward door-to-door fully self-driving Teslas. That's at least half the excitement — what it indicates is coming, much more than what is here today. Nonetheless, tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of Tesla owners were eager to see what Smart Summon could do and what its limitations were. That included me, a new Tesla buddy, and a friend of his who happened to be in town at the Supercharger where we had decided to meet.

In an article posted by EV Specifications, it reports that the publication The Elec says that industry sources from South Korea show that Tesla will produce its own batteries. They get their information from the fact that Daebo Magnetic will be the supplier of the electromagnetic filters that are needed to produce the batteries. Daebo Magnetic is a battery equipment manufacturer headquartered in South Korea. The sources also say that these products could possibly enter Tesla's Nevada Gigafactory by the end of this year.

I wrote an article a few days ago about 7 things Tesla "couldn't do," according to top experts in the auto field. As it turns out, these are things Tesla actually went ahead and did, while blowing nonchalant kisses at the crowd. Some other ideas for things "experts" were convinced Tesla couldn't do have come to mind, so here's a sequel to the article from the other day.
