On September 10, the lifestyle guru launched her Martha Stewart CBD wellness line in partnership with Canada-based CBD company Canopy Growth Corporation. Sold online through Canopy’s site, the collection of flavored oils, softgels and gummies is very on-brand for Stewart. The products are inspired by French pâte de fruit as well as baked goods including blood-orange cheesecake, berries and cream tartlets. Stewart, at age 79, joins a growing number of CBD brands taking aim at the Boomer demographic.

There's no shortage of "last chance" sales hitting email inboxes these days, as desperate retailers like Gap and Macy's are trying to squeeze some much-needed revenue out of shoppers. But that also makes it harder for younger startups to grab customers' attention, when every retail company in the world is trying to email them. So, some startups are turning to text message instead to promote sales or key events. Thinx, used text messaging to promote its 30% off sale in August, while Lensabl is encouraging customers to get their first-time discount via text message instead of email.

On Thursday, the brand opened two new additional floors and the rooftop of its NYC store in SoHo, which was previously only two floors. The added floors will mainly be used for one-on-one shopping appointments and private events. De Jong said his hope is that the pent-up desire for shopping and a return to normalcy will bring people back over the next few months, just as it has for Suitsupply customers in China, South Korea and many parts of Europe where it has stores.

Sephora announced that it has inked a deal with Instacart for same-day delivery. Beginning today, select California and Canada stores will be powered by the delivery service, and over the course of the coming weeks, more than 400 stores will be added. According to Sephora, 300-plus brands will be featured on Instacart (the entire Sephora assortment includes more than 400 brands) and to access the service, shoppers have to have an existing Instacart membership.

People may not be getting dressed and going out like they used to, but for Bombas, sales are good. The sock company is beating the target it set for itself back in January, before the pandemic kept people at home (where socks are a little more optional). "Sales are up," Bombas co-founder and chief brand officer Randy Goldberg said on the Glossy Podcast. "There's that response to comfort and a response to community. And people are looking for these little moments for themselves."
