Amazon has announced two new Fire TV devices. The first is an update to the existing Fire TV Stick and the other is a new Fire TV Stick Lite. The updated Fire TV Stick now features the faster SoC from the Fire TV Stick 4K. This means you get a new, faster quad-core CPU and a better GPU that can launch apps and start playing content quicker. Amazon has released a bevy of new products today, chief among which are the four new Echo models. The first is the new Echo, which is a combination of the previous Echo and Echo Plus models. This is not our first encounter with the Google Pixel 5, in fact, we’ve seen its almost complete spec sheet and a couple of images. Now leakster Evan Blass has shared yet more images – this time showing the back of the phone as well as a new color. That color is the Mint Green that we never got with the Pixel 4 (despite leaks). Samsung has begun seeding its latest software update for the Galaxy S20 series series in Europe. It focuses on improving camera performance and also brings the usual security fixes. It comes with the G98xxXXU4BTIB build number and weighs in at just over 350 MB. Xiaomi's Mi Band 4 debuted last year but it's only now that Xiaomi is launching the NFC-enabled version outside of China. It's not a proper global launch, but two more European countries - Belarus and Ukraine are following Russia, which got it in June. Xiaomi has collaborated with Mastercard to enable contactless payments using the NFC chip so a number of Belarusian and Ukrainian banks now offer the service. On Wednesday, OnePlus released the second Open Beta for Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11 for both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The changelog mentions several bug fixes and introduces a new feature to Ambient Display. The feature is named “Canvas” and will show an outline of a wallpaper image in the Ambient Display.
