Int J Nanomedicine. 2016;11:2663–2673.Following a review of their data post-publication, the authors found errors in the kidney and PPT group image used for Figure 7 on page 2671 and the spleen control and PP group images and liver PP and PPT group images used for Figure 8 on page 2671. Following a review of our data post-publication, we found the incorrect control HAp microspheres morphologies images were used for Figure 1A and B. The correct SEM morphologies of the HAp microspheres for Figure 1A and B are shown in this corrigendum. This correction of images has no impact to the findings of the study.
