In today's world, the applications of diesel engines are gradually increased in the area of agricultural and especially in commercial vehicle sectors. The present scenario emphasises necessarily for the development of better techniques to improve the efficiency of the diesel engine and also the adverse effect of fossil fuels on the environment. The purpose of this work is to investigate the consequence of biodiesel blends with diesel on exhaust gas temperature and emission characteristics. In this work, the exhaust emissions and exhaust gas temperatures were measured in a four stroke, single cylinder, and constant speed diesel engine fuelled with Calophyllum inophyllum methyl ester (CIME) and its blends with diesel. The different blends suc.

With the development of the internet, recommendation systems play a significant role for providing personalised services in our life. However, this raises serious concerns about privacy since the system collects a lot of personal information. Thus, plenty of schemes have been proposed to address the privacy issues by using cryptographic techniques. However, with the rapidly increasing numbers of users and items, most of existing cryptography-based schemes become inefficient because of the huge computation cost. In this paper, we propose an efficient privacy-preserving scheme for recommendation systems. Compared with existing schemes, our scheme does not require that friends of user are online during computing predicted rating. Finally, we e.

In Nigeria, cassava has moved from a little yielding deprivation standby crop to a great bouncy money yielding products with its many other usages for livestock feeds, food and agro-industry raw materials. This study examines chain processes of cassava processes and identifies value along the chain with gendered perspective. The study was conducted in Southwest, Nigeria and choice was done systematically to select 250 cassava growers. Data were analysed by means of factor analysis and Poisson model. Results showed that most cassava male growers traded cassava in garden-fresh form exclusive of value, while female growers transformed cassava from its garden-fresh form and thus adding value along the chain for income increase. Female cassava f.

The nature of consumer-brand relationships (CBR) represents one of the topics with the most significant literary resonance in contemporary marketing. However, there is still a gap of a well-defined, integrated, and empirically tested model explaining the causal relationships of CBR's development stages. This study aims to explore and bridge this knowledge gap in the automotive market setting. In this sense, a survey of 427 consumers was carried out. The interrelated factors of the successive stages showed adequate levels of variance explanation. As word of mouth grows in importance, due to the spread of digital social networks, the research's results suggest that the development of attachment/love should become a primordial challenge to dev.

This paper concerns modelling dam break flows of non-Newtonian Herschel-Bulkley (HB) fluid by using the volume of fluid (VOF) method and high resolution advection schemes. The VOF method is based on the fact that two or more fluids (or phases) are not interpenetrating. In the present study, a modified approach is used to overcome this problem. The OpenFoam software is employed and inter-Foam solver is used in two and three-dimensional model with non-Newtonian fluid. The numerical results of the present study are compared with analytical, numerical and experimental results found in literature. The numerical code which is used showed better agreement with the experimental data than those using shallow water equations and PLIC method.
