Geothermal leader Mount Apo Geothermal Power Plants are now back online, with its 54.24 MW M2 power plant successfully synchronized to the grid on November 12 and its 54.24 MW M1 power plant’s return to service today, following the strong earthquake that hit Kidapawan City and other parts of Mindanao on October 31. The timely return-to-service of both power plants was made possible by the round-the-clock work of EDC as well as its contractors, and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), and the National Power Corporation (NPC).
