5G was supposed to be a game-changer this year, but the truth is that 5G coverage remains effectively non-existent for the vast majority of mobile users in the United States. What's more, the number of 5G-enabled phones even available for purchase isn't exactly an extensive list. But with 2020 right around the corner, we're starting to see an uptick in 5G coverage from a number of carriers. AT&T, for example, launched 5G coverage across 10 U.S. cities today, a list which includes Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Birmingham, Indianapolis, Providence, Rochester, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose.
