17 Sep 2020 --- Nespresso has been carbon-neutral across its business operations since 2017 and now aims to achieve full carbon neutrality across its supply chain and product life cycle. The coffee processing company and an operating unit of the Nestlé Group, says that every cup of Nespresso coffee, both for at-home and for professional customers, will be carbon neutral by 2022.

16 Sep 2020 --- Lactalis Group is positioned to acquire a portfolio of Kraft Heinz brands, expected to close in the first half of 2021. The dairy supplier will also be partnering with the food giant for a perpetual license of Kraft’s Natural, Grated and International cheeses and Velveeta’s Natural and International cheeses. With this acquisition, Lactalis will acquire brands including Cracker Barrel, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos, Hoffman’s and – outside the US and Canada only – Cheez Whiz. Under the agreement, Lactalis will acquire three Kraft Heinz production facilities based in California, New York and Wisconsin, US. The deal also includes a distribution center in Wisconsin.
