Edinburgh St James has secured Bonnie & Wild, a new concept food hall by Scottish restaurant brand, Mac & Wild. Bonnie & Wild will be the new anchor food hall at the centre of the Edinburgh St James development, and will consist of restaurant operators alongside fresh and packaged food and drink from a variety of artisan butchers, fishmongers, grocers, cheesemongers, chocolatiers and bakeries, and three unique bar concepts.

Soaring business rates, rent reviews, and minimum wages were already putting pressure on the size and scale of physical shops. And against the increasing appeal of online shopping to a conscious, discriminating and tech-savvy market, the role of bricks versus clicks has long been in debate. To fundraise the incredible £10,000 over the past year, the staff at Weetabix held baking competitions, flash mobs, treasure hunts, bingo evenings and even a summer fundraising event with a giant Weetabix. Representatives from Cransley Hospice Trust also joined in with some of the events, including judging the baking competition.
