A British parliamentarian has called for an international and independent investigation into the death of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Conservative MP Crispin Blunt, who headed the Detention Review Panel for Mohamed Morsi in 2018, said that Morsi was "not an ordinary prisoner" and his death is representative of the Egyptian government’s "inability to uphold prisoners’ rights."

An official website of New Zealand's government has published a map of the Middle East that only shows Palestine and doesn't recognize Israel. The website Immigration New Zealand posted the map as part of a fact sheet that provided information about Palestinian immigrants to New Zealand. The page referred to the "massive repression of Palestinians" caused by Israel during the Second Intifada (uprising).

A New Zealand man was jailed for 21 months on Tuesday for distributing gruesome livestream video of the Christchurch mosque attacks that killed 51 Muslim worshippers, local media reported. Philip Arps, 44, was arrested in Christchurch four days after alleged gunman Brenton Tarrant's March 15 rampage at two mosques in the South Island city resulted in the worst massacre in modern New Zealand history. Arps pleaded guilty to two charges of distributing objectionable material for sharing footage that was livestreamed to social media during the attack.

I can still remember Amman's airport before its 2013 expansion. Twice did I land or depart from its crowded walls. There were no restaurants per se, only a very small food court. Security lines were often packed. The interior itself, while clean felt reminiscent of the 1970's, like a Soviet corridor. Or maybe it felt that way because the first time I flew into Amman, I was detained.

Three rockets hit an Iraqi military base north of Baghdad, where where American trainers and Iraqi troops are based, the Iraqi military said on Tuesday. The attack on camp Taji, about 27 kilometres (17 miles) north of Baghdad - which took place late Monday - is the second on a military post housing American personnel in the past few days. An attack on an air base, also housing US trainers, north of Baghdad on Saturday caused a small fire. A brief statement from the Iraqi military said that Katushya rockets were used.

Sudan’s National Umma Party (NUP) Secretary-General and representative of the Declaration of Freedom and Change (DFC) to talks with the Transitional Military Council (TMC), Ibrahim Al Amin revealed that the party had made a proposal to the council on ending the uprisings. In an interview he said: "The DFC has agreed to concede equal representation between army and civilian authorities and rotating the leadership of the sovereignty council."
