Specimens will be dichotomized according to whether their pathology was associated with hard pancreatic parenchyma [pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and chronic pancreatitis] or with soft or normal pancreatic parenchyma (ampullary carcinoma, duodenal carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, neuroendocrine tumours and other lesions.
